Still Lingers...
While waitin' 4 é fire engine...
... I managed 2 capture a shot of our burnin' bike uzin' my camera phone...It's juz below é gantry & rite beside an electric panel, how dangerous..! Fortunately, we did not damage any govt properties, merely sum burnin' marks on é rd divider, gdnez... Wen é whole hurly burly came 2 an end, 1 of é SCDF officers handed honey his ½-burnt bike keys 4 keepsake... We took a laz look @ dear Rocky II & honey managed 2 pull out his front mudguard, still intact wif his logo, miraculously spared from é blaze...

Gone...
My previous entry ended wif "wonder wat'll go missin' next, choy!!!" & hey, it juz happened..! Diz time 'round it involved sumtin' big, well @ least it's way bigger than my "lost-&-found" cards... & it does not literally go missin', it's juz not there anymore, gone wif é wind... It's our dear Rocky II... Yeah, we had an accident earlier & caused our bike 2 b on fire, big fire dat is... We managed 2 escape, Alhamdullilah, or else I guess I won't b here typin' diz out... É mishap happened @ SC, on our way 2 haf dinner @ 'round 2115 - 2145 hrs... Evrytin' happened in a split second... We were @ a bend & sumhow honey lost control of é bike & fell... Us, 2gether wif our bike, were dragged a few mtrs away... While we fell, I cud vividly see myself nearin' é coat of tar... It's damn scary..! We were lucky, Alhamdullilah, there's no vehicle bhind us & é car in front is quite a distance away... Honey managed 2 get up & immediately helped me up as I was sumhow stucked..! He shouted, "Cum, cum, run!!!" while holdin' my hand... É next min, our bike is on fire... It was a narrow escape, I cud hardly breathe... So there we stood in a corner, hopelessly watchin' our dear Rocky II burn away, leavin' only its skeletal frame... É main concern is, our fallen, burnin' bike was juz beside é electric panel & we fear dat it might initiate an explosion... A crowd was already formin' by then... Honey, on é other hand, went in é bldg 2 get help from é security... In less than 2 mins, é fire engine & police came 2 é scene... We were endlessly questioned by é police & SCDF staff on how é accident happened & 1 of é paramedic applied a bandage 2 honey's leg... Soon after, sum of honey's frens came 2 offer help... It was a relief seein' familiar faces, phew..! Thank gdnez, honey & myself were quite intact... Honey's left foot was injured & he suffered minor bruises on both his arms while I had a contusion on my left arm & a swollen right knee... His right pair of sandals was burnt 2gether wif é bike... É SCDF officer concluded dat é oil tank must've leaked due 2 é impact of metal hittin' against é ground which caused a sudden burst of flame... Evrything's surreal... It sure was a traumatic experience we wud definitely not 4get... & yes, diz I must stress out 2 rd-users 2 b extra careful, dat includes us..! & 2 dearest Rocky II, it's heartbreakin' 2 see u go like dat... Although u've been wif us 4 barely 2 mths, u'll alwaz b remembered... 10 q 4 ferryin' us around...

Inclined 2 4get..!
Laz Mon while I was rushin' 2 werk s usual, I realized dat my access card was nowhere 2 b found... So I searched like mad almost evry corner of my rm but 2 no avail... I panicked... It wud b a hassle 2 haf it replced... I remembered puttin' it in my bag (or so I thot) é Fri b4 prior 2 knockin' off from werk... I cudn't haf misplced it (or so I thot!!!) My head was spinnin' intensely, tryin' 2 recall é remainin' existence of my access card... Dat's é most awful moment & 2 make it worst, it happened on a dreadful Mon..! Oh man, I totally hate it wen things go missin' é moment I need 2 use 'em..! I gave up rummagin' around & left 4 werk, heavy-heartedly... Bubbles of thots came 2 mind...
Upon reachin' my wkplc, I took out my identity card 2 haf it exchanged wif a visitor pass... É recep asked wat happened 2 my access card... I replied, "Lost, urgghhh!!!" She laughed & shook her head..! I dragged my feet 2 my ofc, made myself a cup of hot Milo & settled down... Juz wen I unlocked my drawer, there it was, my access card, lyin', smilin' brightly among all é other stationery, argghhh..! Wat a relief..! I must haf chucked it al2gether wif my pens & pencils é Fri b4 é min honey called sayin' he was already downstairs 2 pick me up..! Damn, how slapdash I can b!!! I got myself all worried 4 nothin'..! Luckily, it wasn't dat bad, phew, but still, hmph..!
Another careless moment, yet again, happened laz nite while I was gettin' ready 2 go out wif honey... I hafa tendency 2 re-arrange é contents in my purse wen I noticed dat my EZ-link wasn't there..! Gdnez!!! Not again..! Dammit!!! Diz time, I dun wanna worry 4 nothin', I've had my lesson... So I tried 2 call 2 mind, real hard... I remembered it was rainin' heavily on my way home on Fri... Wen I alighted é bus, I had in 1 hand, a brolly, & é other hand, my EZ-link!!! Gd, it's cumin', almost there... Now where is dat EZ-link..? Not in my purse definitely... I must haf slotted it sumwhere within my reach in é midst of é heavy rain & all... Then it came 2 mind... I rushed 2 é kitchen immediately & saw é pair of jeans I wore é day b4 hangin' on é pole 2 let dry... I put in my hand in 1 of é pockets & voila, out slipped my EZ-link..! Phew!!!
Now I wonder whether my EZ-link can still b in use after gettin' all washed up & purified wif detergent, haiz... Cum 2 tink of it, diz stupid moments took plc 2 Fris in a row... I must, must, must b extra careful wif my belongings... Wonder wat'll go missin' next, choy!!!

Drained...
Gdnez..! I can't blieve my wkns flew by wif juz a wink of an eye..! It turned out 2 b 1 of doz bz wkns where activities were linin' up packed, planned & unplanned, 4 both honey & myself..! 2 dat, we spent most of our time out-of-doors, havin' a blast wif fellow acquaintances...
Sat started wif window-shoppin' @ Queensway, a plc where we haven set our foot in since é year dot..! It has quite changed but a gd no. of shops still recur 2 é past times... Unexpectedly, we bumped into honey's team who came 2 collect their jerseys meant 2 b worn é next day 4 their Topper Cup @ Sentosa Island... A lite dinner followin' dat b4 honey & myself made our way 2 Bt Timah 4 a game of pool... We left 4 town then 4 an unintended k-ok session wif his mates where we started 2 bring up é level of "noise pollution" rite after midnite all é way till 0430 hrs..!
It was dawnin' wen honey sent me home... He suggested 4 us 2 juz wash up & get changed since we á meetin' his team 1st thing in é am 4 their soccer match... We scooted our way 2 HarbourFront @ exactly 0630 hrs & board é shuttle scv 2 Sentosa Island @ 0700 hrs... Gee, I guess dat's é earliest eva we journeyed 2 é southernmost part of SIN..!
Bein' é 1st couple 2 arrive, we recced é football field area b4 getting' ourselves lite munchies 4 breakfaz... His team-mates came soon after & there goes our plan 2 catch sum ZzzZzzZzz..! Mind u, we did not even catch a wink since our k-ok session & by then we were quite heavy-eyed but still we keep our cool & try not 2 doze off... É match finally started @ 0845 hrs & honey's team was é 1st three 2 start é game... They will haf a total of 3 matches 2 play & hafta win @ least 2 b4 goin' 2 é next level but I guess Lady Luck wasn't really smilin' @ 'em but noneéless they tried their bez, @ least they did gif it a try, dat's betta than nothin'...
Howeva, honey & myself only stayed till é 2nd match coz we need 2 go 2 Geylang Serai 2 get sum fabric 4 HRA... Diz yr, we dcided 2 send 4 tailorin' earlier @ our usual tailor coz they won't b takin' in any more orders after a limited period of time & also 2 avoid any disappointment in é sudden shoot of prices durin' peak season... Am so glad we managed 2 find é kinda cloth we want & haf 'em made all on é same day..! É day went quite long & é scorchin' sun really dehydrate & deplete us of our energy but all dat aside since we á enjoyin' ourselves pretty much, really..! & now, time 2 hit é much needed sack, ZzzZzzZzz!!!

Stucked...
Rite bout now, am wedged in btween joinin' my family 2 a weddin' function @ Batam or catchin' World Motorcycle GP '06 @ Sepang wif honey & his team cum Sept... Am goin' bonkers tinkin' bout diz over & over & over again... Haiz, if only there isn't any clash of dates, I wud haf gone 2 both events & remain sane, still... I keep listin' out é pros & cons & still cudn't cum up wif é solution... Wat shud I do..? Who shall I follow?!! Wif both parties bein' obligin', it makes my decision-makin' much more harder... Shud I juz b fair & turn down both?!! It's not hard rite, if u noe wat I mean... I juz stay in SIN (homed alone!!!) & call up my chums 4 a laz min plan / sleepover, wudn't dat b gr8?!! Argghhh!!! 4 now, I juz hum 2 U2's "Stuck in a moment u can't get out of..."
