É fav thing he lurves 2 do now is 2 stand uprite durin' our suhoor & haf diz hand-over-heart pose juz like a student earnestly takin' his pledge or any other patriotic citizen... 5th Ramadhan 1426...
2day I had my fast-breakin' meal wif é family 4 é 1st time diz yr... Even so, it was not a complete family dinner 4 Along & SIL wasn't there 2 njoy é feast we had... É 1st day of Ramadhan saw me breakin' é day's fast wif honey @ FEP, 2nd @ é Windows on Club St 2gether wif é colleagues, 3rd alone by é paseo on é way home from werk & 4th wif honey yet again @ Swensen's, PBJ...
É fastest time I can reach home from werk is ½-past-7, dat is if é train & bus is not delayed which is by é way very unlikely... So now, I make sure I haf my Mentos ready in my bag 4 me 2 chew on evrytime Ummi calls 2 say dat time has permit 4 me 2 eat... Well, I can't b havin' my whole set of meal on é train can I..? I may even still b in é ofc @ dat time..! Even wen honey came 2 fetch me from my wkplc, yes, I can b on time 2 sit in wif my family but not 4 him... I wouldn't want him 2 b by é rdside alone noein' his family is also waitin' 4 him... C, time is alwaz é factor but we can't possibly fight dat can we..?
I missed doz times wen my bros & I were much more younger havin' our iftar & suhoor 2gether wif Ummi & Abah... I remember vividly how groggy & lazy we were in wakin' up 4 our predawn meal & how fun it was 2 crack up jokes in btween our many fast-breakin' meals... Doz were é times... Talkin' bout now, we each haf our own commitment which makes it hard 4 é sibs 2 gather, even 4 1 simple dinner... Along & SIL will b 2 bz runnin' their biz xpecially durin' diz festive season, Angah will b 2 bz wif his routine activities jugglin' btween werk & lectures whereas me will neva make it on time 4 havin' 2 werk far away from home... So, it left wif only Ummi & Abah accompanyin' 'emselves on wkdaz... Diz sumhow saddens me... I can neva live over doz happy family moments can I, sigh...
2 tink dat we á all livin' in dat tiny red dot marked on é map, ironic ~ u name it...
Okay now, talkin' bout Ramadhan, é 9th mth in é Muslim calendar where indulgence of any sort is forbidden during é fast, it sure test my faith & patience... On é 1st day, I had 1 exec who wanted 2 treat me 2 pizza 4 lunch... No, it wasn't deliberate 4 he bein' a non-Muslim clean 4got bout é fast thingy I had 2 undergo... My reply, "Na-ah, go ahead, m fastin'..." Yes he was shocked & apologised immediately... É 2nd day went quite alike, happened wen I was buryin' myself in werk wen another exec came & ask, "Hey, m headin' 2 é cafeteria, want sumtin'..?" Nope, they á not tryin' 2 b funny bout my restrictions, they haf alwaz been like dat even wen it's not durin' dat time of é yr... 1 thing dat can't b avoid though á doz tryin', difficult, nerve-rackin' clients... I juz hafta filter my words dat is... & dat's not all & I foresee many of such will cum in é next remainin' daz of Ramadhan & I hope dat none will make it 2 é extent dat I hafta forsake my pure, sacred intention, Insya-Allah...

OMG..!
So, my backpacking plan didn't happen... I felt it won't b nice of me 2 leave on Ummi's special day... É boy did proceed though wif his gay partner cum buddy, well, haf fun dudes..!
I rcvd 2 overseas calls wif rgds 2 bomb explosions in Bali which took plc juz 2day..! 1st from honey from across é causeway, 2nd from é bez bud all é way from BKK..! It send shivers down my spine... 1 of é affected area ~ Kuta... Now I wonder wat haf bcum 2 é promised land dat offered us warm hospitality 7 mths ago?!! Urg, terrible..!
Ya Allah, pls make safe of é plc we live in, Amin... Okay, back 2 switchin' channels btween CNN & BBC news now...
